TRAUMA MASSAGE THEORY CPD COURSE

Trauma massage is intended for those dealing with unresolved trauma, PTSD,domestic or sexual abuse, or high anxiety. It is designed in a way that minimises stress on the tissues and therefore does not overload the nervous system. The focus is on rebalancing the nervous system in order to override the fight or flight response, while offering safe, comforting, and healing touch.
This course offers the theoretical knowledge required prior to completing the practical session. This course can also be done without the practical if you simply want to develop your understanding of trauma without specifically offering a trauma massage.
