BAMBOO AND HIMALAYAN SALT MASSAGE CPD COURSE

Image

Himalayan salt massage using salt stones falls somewhere between a Swedish and a deep tissue, and has the added benefit of absorption of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium, plus 84 trace minerals, helping to maintain the fluid balance in the body, contributing to bone and muscle health, and impacting on cardiovascular health and blood pressure. In addition to easing anxiety and insomnia, himalayan salt is known for it's anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, thus promoting good immune function. This massage will help to support healthy respiratory and circulatory systems, assisting with detoxification while lightly exfoliating the skin.

Bamboo massage uses hollow bamboo canes to give a deep, tension relieving massage. Bamboo is the richest source of silica, which has a restorative effect on the body's tissues, making this massage even more effective than just the therapist's manoeuvres. Bamboo massage helps to stimulate the circulation and lymphatic drainage, helping to relieve arthritic pain and increasing joint and muscle flexibility. It promotes relaxation, helping to relieve stress, depression and insomnia, and improve mental clarity, and may help to improve nervous system function and sensory nerve perception.

This is a combined course with a practical day in Tunbridge Wells, and 2 separate certificates will be issued.
