MASSAGE FOR COMMON MEDICAL CONDITIONS CPD COURSE

Image

With approximately two thirds of massage clients seeking appointments for help with medical conditions now, it is imperative that we understand at least the most common conditions that people are coming in with.

Medical massage uses a wider variety of techniques to target specific medical needs, and is focused on a specific ,medical outcome as opposed to relaxation. A therapist will often need to provide more specific follow up recommendations in a targeted treatment plan and recommendations for timed visits. Medical massage can also be used as a preventative measure against chronic pain conditions by addressing trigger points and soft tissue injuries.

This course is about improving your understanding of issues, covering a variety of cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and nervous system disorders.

Please note that reproductive issues are dealt with in the womens health course, and digestive disorders are found in the colon course.

This course combines well with:-
