ONCOLOGY MASSAGE L3 DIPLOMA COURSE

Image

Oncology massage uses light touch and slow, steady movements, helping the body to relax due it's effect on the nervous system. It will be adjusted to meet the specific situation of each client with cancer, whether they are in the diagnostic, treatment, remission, terminal or palliative stage of their cancer journey.

Oncology massage is a customised therapy focused on wellbeing rather than fixing. It takes into account the fragility of a severely compromised immune system, and the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which may create a complex case history, to offer comfort and relaxation, and enable the client to better cope with their symptoms.
