PRE-REQUISITES:

This course is intended for therapists who have undertaken a basic body massage course, and want to understand more about formation of scar tissue and how it may impact on the body. It can also serve as a foundation for a practical scarwork course.

• to identify when infection and other complications have been an issue in wound healing

ASSESSMENT

Theory assessment requires a 70% pass mark before certificate is provided. If you don’t pass the first time you can retake the assessment at no extra charge.

QUALIFICATION: Understanding Scars CPD course is accredited by the IGCT and offers 12 CPD points.
